What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you become a member of our Society, apply to audition for a role, purchase tickets from us for our events or subscribe to our mailing list.
Information we collect consists of some or all of name, address, phone number and email address.
How will we use the information about you?
- As a member
We collect information about you in order to communicate with you about rehearsals, events and production details. If you fail to renew your annual membership by 31st October of the following membership year, your personal details are deleted.
- As an auditioner
We collect information about you in order to communicate with you about the auditions. If your audition is successful, you are expected to become a member, otherwise your personal details are deleted.
- As a ticket buyer
We collect information about you in order to deliver your tickets and to keep you informed about any unforeseen changes to the event. After the event, your personal details are deleted.
- As a mailing subscriber
We collect information about you in order to deliver our newsletters and to keep you informed about our future events and productions. You may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time. When you do so, your personal details are deleted and we will no longer communicate with you.
We do not share or pass on your personal information to any other organisation. Your personal information is kept secure.
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. If you would like to do this, please email or write to us at the address below.
You may ask us to correct information you think is inaccurate. You may also ask us to delete information that we hold about you, but for members and ticket buyers, that may cause us to be unable to deliver essential services to you.
